i’m giving blogger a second chance cause it’s under google. And i like google’s applications and products. so, yeah. i’ll see if there’s any positive changes.

Timetable had some serious changes made to it. Every period is now 30 mins, 10 mins less than last year. However, every lesson will either be in 2 or 3 periods. So, it’s 1 – 1 1/2 hours for every lesson. Some lessons will get boring after 40mins. Some unbearable after 1h 20mins. Now all lessons are longer. THIS IS BAD.

Secondly, are recess are pushed back to 11am, to stagger timing for all 4 levels. I have starved for like 2 days. Last year, recess was at either 8.40, 9.20 or 10 (mostly 9.20am). I could skip breakfast if i wanted to, and never get hungry. But now, even eating breakfast, i’ll be starving. (well, maybe a little bit of exaggeration here ). But still, 11am is close to lunch. I could have lunch instead of recess at that hour.

But it’s not all bad. Some of my favourite teachers stopped teaching us. Some new teachers are good and lessons are generally okay. I miss Ms Pek RH being our form teacher. She is an amazing teacher/form teacher. Luckily she is still our Maths teacher, so maths lessons are always fun . But maths is getting tougher and tougher. OH NO. i miss 张美凤老师. she’s an amazing chinese teacher. now my chinese teacher.. let’s not talk about it (and i’m taking my higher mother tongue this year. OH GOSH!..) Miss Tan YH, who taught me english last year, was good. She helped me scored A1 for english, amazing teacher . Now Mrs Cheryl Wong is teaching my class.. A good teacher as well, although not many people listen to her during secondary 2 – my sec2 english teacher, sec3 IHE Lit teacher. She knows me, and i know she is good. So, maybe i’ll continue to perform well for english this year.

There’s obviously some good changes. Mrs Loi is replaced by Mr Tieuu. Mr Tieuu is nice, funny and very interesting. He makes a much better teacher compared to Mrs Loi. And he have a lot of stories to tell, making physics lessons so much MORE interesting than previous years. Mrs Chua LC, who taught me chemistry last year, was replaced my Mrs Seck. Mrs Chua is very good, fast-paced, packed full of notes and knowledge, using every second of the lessons to it’s fullest. She also will make afternoon lessons just to finish our syllabus, and she gives the most homework(terrible homework!). I fully appreciate her effort , but i don’t think her learning style is for me. So many people in class scored A1 for chemistry last year, and yet a considerable few (me included) keeps failing her test). SORRY MRS CHUA!. She’s replaced my Mrs Seck BC, who is also currently my form teacher. Mrs Seck is the strictest form teacher i had. She’s those no-nonsense type. But i was told she’s nice and kind, so maybe i’ll get to know her more in the weeks to come. Her chemistry was supposedly good, so i’ll see if my atrocious chemistry will improve under her guidance. Maybe, maybe not.

and i forgot to mention that I’M CLASS MONITOR!! haha.

that’s about all. tons of things to do. shall try to finish everything before sleeping.

Watched 2 movies. 2012 and A Christmas Carols. Both are fine movies . Going to watch another movie tomorrow, but have not decided on the film yet. Probably not New Moon. I’m not really interested in any movie though.. Maybe Mulan? Well, it should be a fun day nonetheless.

Just been back from batam. Quite a nice 3 day holiday with my parents. Very relaxing, i must add. Also had plenty of “quality” time with Sean. Thanks Sean

Next, been really busy with all the NPCC stuff. Jing Hao is leaving for BSC with so many ExCo members. Especially Daniel and Zhi Rong. What will become of NPCC.. and i’m the stand-in chairman for UGBC and EA division. This is B.A.D. I’m totally stressed out from the extra work load. Luckily i’m not in orientation OT, or i’ll be dead man!

6A Christmas PARTY!! A not-to-be-missed tradition. This year will be no different . li xin promised tons of fun games, good food and awesome people . well, li xin is organising it. Around time, have been so stressed out with the organising.. Good luck li xin. You’ll need it. Some of the details are confirmed: It will be held on the 27th of December, at my house . Probably be the first time coming to my house since i just moved.. Excited anyone?

Well, that should be all.. I’ll need to sleep soon. Still have to wake up early to go get some docs printed tomorrow morning, before meeting edmond at 10 for Service Learning Club’s meeting .

I’m working at my dad’s shop. Earning a pathetic $4 an hour. Haha. But it’s kind of slack so i’m kindda not working. But im still getting paid. wahaha.

So.. went back to school last friday for SLC meeting. Im the Aphelion SLC vice-chairman. HAHA. thank you . So i have a little bit of different views and perspective from others.. hmm..

Went cycling with Chan an, Zi han and Kelvin at East Coast Park on Sunday. It was fun. and tiring. haha. no girls = no slack. They cycle so fast i was almost constantly the one lagging behind. But at least i survived . haha. Wanted to go to chan an’s house after that BUT zi han wanted to go home. UGHh.. and i had to accompany him back to Bedok. But since i have to take 31 home anyway, i’m no complaining. haha.

Looking forward to moving . Next thursday. My house is super messy right now. and most of my things are not packed. So i guess the rest of my time at home should be packing, packing and packing. haiz, this is totally siansation . BOO!

And.. this holiday might to kind of busy, i still hope i have plently of time (and money) to go out .

i finished my exam 1 week + ago, and i have been enjoying ever since then. Went to watch (500) days of summer.. and it was a very good movie . I also watched tae guk gi: the brotherhood of war. It was also another awesome movie, I totally connected with the younger brother even though i’m not going through the korean war.. I think i’ll recommend (500) days of summer to people going to watch movies soon, and taegukgi for those korean fans.

Despite having more time and fun, i still missed lesson quite a bit. After the exam, life slowed down so much that there isn’t much things to do. All the productive things like studying . Facing the computer all the time, watching tv programmes at times are waste of time. I would prefer watching movie, going out or working during the holidays though. Maybe i should get a job. haha. Sort of like how a retiree feels.

I’m going to meet up with friends more often this holiday. Don’t feel like staying much at home. And i haven’t really much outings yet. Looking forward to a month of catching up with friends

i’ve been enjoying the break:). going out tomorrow to officially celebrate since today is not officially the last paper. I’ll go totally crazy tomorrow.

And ezor said that we don’t have to study for the next 3 months until school reopens. Which is a totally great news . HAHA. now i can have my much deprived holiday..

GOODLUCK to those people having their exams, or starting their exams

Maths exam on tuesday. English on monday. i’m so screwed

“i probably should be studying now”, that’s what i have been saying for the past 2 weeks. But i really haven’t been doing that. There is so many other things that is so deliciously tempting, just like my dear computer and television. And now, i am blogging when there is IHC paper tomorrow, especially when i keep telling myself i need to study. What’s wrong with me?! at least i feel productive when i really get down to doing my revision. I probably spend half a day to “finish” my revision (in hoekang’s style), which doesn’t guarantee good grades. But i feel kind of pointless to revise after i hit the point. Because i don’t like any more revision will help, and i should just relax to get prepared for the exam the next day.. So i still feel kind of sad

I haven’t really been doing well for my past 4 papers. Well, i wasn’t expecting much, but still, it was kind of disappointing. I finished all my paper on time (at least i finished), leaving my no time to check my answers. For english paper 1, Chinese paper 1, and even Chemistry paper 1 and 2 today. Okay, i didn’t manage to finish chemistry paper 1 on time, it was MCQ and i skipped 4 questions because i have no idea how to do them, then when the bell rang i quickly just filled in what i thought was the answer.. Maybe could’ve be more assured if i was given 5 more minutes. And i think i wrote off topic for Chinese Composition. This is extremely worrying. And i am also not too sure about my choice of topic for English and Literature. i know i screwed up Literature BIG TIME. Probably my worst paper till date, but perhaps IHC could beat that since get my lowest mark in IHC most of the time.. But since it’s over, might as well no mull over it and starting thinking about IHC exam!!

Dawn is so lucky. . how can she finish her exam so early and now in her chalet? This is so unfair ! haha. i had to mug while she happily tells me about her show, chalet and sleeping/waking late cause she has no school ! hmph. i kept telling myself 7 more days to go before it’s my turn to start going crazy. For now, i need to my calm and thinking mind..

GO HOE KANG . i know i can do it. At least get into 4A2 and not into 4Q . Well .. i seriously seriously hope so. Anyway with my ACE, OP and 3 Terms of tests, i doubt i’ll get about 4.00 even if i screw up really badly. iHOPE.

i am really quite sad cause most of my teachers are not going to be my teachers next year.

Form teacher/Maths – Miss pek. i’ll miss Ms Pek. She is a very amazing and nice teacher. Sadly, our results for term3 is disastrous and so we will have a new form teacher next year since she is supposed to be “not encouraging”. what is this. i think she is like the most caring and encouraging teacher . i hate to think that mrs kee or any other sec4s teacher will be taking us next year. UGH!

English – Miss tan. i think she teaches sec4s, so it think she might be teaching us next year. YAY . She has taught me for sec 1 lit and i think she’s amazing as well

Chinese – 张老师. she said she won’t be teaching us next year cause she don’t teach sec4s. . But she said she MIGHT. hmm .. she has been my chinese teacher for so long and i’ll also miss her. she is also the greatest chinese teacher EVER.

Chemistry – Mrs Chua. I agree that mrs chua’s lessons are the most rigourous lessons EVER. And even though she teaches very well and prepare us very well for all her exams, i constantly fail or scrape a C6. Which is really sad considering she’s so great in teaching. She said she can’t be able to next 4 sec4s classes next year and will consider dropping our class . which is really sad. She said she’ll make up her mind after the exams.

Physics – Mrs Loi. also my sec2 physics teacher. She’ll most probably be teaching us next year. she told us in class since a)Mr Yap is leaving the school and b)Mrs kee will be teaching 3A1. then there’s no other physics teacher in aphelion. So Mrs Loi

IHC – Mrs Chan. Assistant director of consortium. She can be really scary and times, always want us to be discipline. yet her lessons are sometimes fun and funny and relatively nice. and i’m also her rep . She might be the 1 i miss the most, but still, i want her to come back to teach us next year since she is also quite an awesome teacher

i really really love this year, the teachers and the class. It has truly been an amazing year with fellow 3a2-ians and all my SUPER AMAZING AND NICE teachers. really, there’s not 1 lesson i really don’t like (okay, maybe mrs chan’s at first cause of her terrible-ness to the sec2s last year and her “higher-authority”, and mrs chua’s when i constantly fail chem and wish i could drop it).

HAD A REALLY WONDERFUL YEAR AND I SHOULD GO STUDY TO GET GOOD RESULT SO THAT I COULD HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY TO END THIS NICE YEAR

i wish we could have study break. I mean i probably won’t be able to do as much homework as in school (7+hrs/day). but i won’t be feeling totally stressed out. i could use some own time to study.. haiz. i think i’ll be taking study breaks next year..

still have like chemistry revision exercises! ahh. been doing like 2004-2006. but haven’t really handed in the rest. 2007 was due like ytd and 2008 on friday. haiz.. need to get it done quickly.

and there is chemistry remedial on friday from 1.20 to 5. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.
